Oberlin College, Bachelor of Arts, Dance with concentration on Circus Arts, 12/2000
San Francisco Circus Center, 1998-1999: focused on rope, trapeze, hand-balancing and contortion.
AcroSports San Francisco, 1999: coached, trained, and performed on rope, trapeze, and aerial hoop.
Teaching Experience:
Founder of the Topanga Canyon Aerial Arts Workshop - 3/2003-present.
Through TCAAW I teach group classes and private instruction to about fifteen or twenty students in the greater Los Angeles area.
Overland Elementary School Star Afterschool program in Circus Arts - 9/2002-2003
Taught circus arts to kids aged 3-13 including acrobatics, juggling, balance, pyramids, and hand-balance.
Christopher Robin Preschool - 2002-2003
Taught circus skills once a week to kids, aged 3-5.
West Hollywood Sundays in the park - 2003
Series of three sundays, performed a fifteen minute circus show, and taught workshop for kids in circus arts afterwards with the West Hollywood Circus Arts Theatre.
Circus Smirkus Summer Camp - 1999-2003
Coached kids aged 8-17 at this Vermont Summer camp, in the area of acrobatics, aerial skills, contortion, and hand-balancing.
AcroSports San Francisco - 1999-2000
Taught gymnastics, aerial rope, trapeze, contortion, and hand-balancing to kids aged 2-16.
Oberlin College recreational gymnastics program - 1997-1999
Taught gymnastics to kids aged 3-10.
